Fishing
All of my fishing, so far, has been from Homer at the tip of the Kenai peninsula. I have booked some very nice charters aboard the "Sea Hawk" and the "Daria".
Sea Hawk belongs to Ron Neiman, who also operates the "Float Plane Lodge" on Beluga Lake in Homer. Ron offers some very nice packages for lodging and charters. The meals served at his lodge are just plain awsome. http://floatplanelodge.com/
Daria is owned and operated by Chuck Hoff of "Big Pond Sportfishing". Chuck only takes out parties of six or less. The day we went with him there were only three of us. I really enjoyed fishing with Chuck and his deck hand Nick. Both are native born and raised Alaskans. You won't find a more comfortable boat, or a friendlier crew in the world. Both of these charters will fish for Halibut and Salmon, and you might even talk them into parking at the ling cod hole for a bit.
